| How secure is my KSFCU account? |
- KSFCU acknowledges that Internet security is a primary concern for anyone using the Internet today. DataNet has security features in place to ensure all of your transactions are protected. Technology in place at KSFCU prevents
monitoring of your account through DataNet, as well as preventing unauthorized access to your account information. To verify that the security encryption is in your browser during an active DataNet session, look for the gold key or lock in Netscape
Navigator or the lock in Microsoft Internet Explorer at the bottom of your screen. If the key is solid or the lock is closed, it indicates that your DataNet transactions are secure. If the key is broken or the lock is open, it indicates that your
transactions are not secure.

| | For a secure system running Microsoft Windows NT SP 6, Windows Vista, Windows 2000 SP3, Windows XP and Windows 2003 or Apple Mac OS X operating systems, we recommend using the following browsers. Each of the browsers listed has an encryption level of 128-bit. We recommend against using hand-held devices, older or unlisted browser versions and operating systems. Even though they may function correctly, using them can create a potentially non-secure environment. Please review the following known issues associated with the browsers. A favorites list can be utilized to bookmark www.ksfcu.org, however, it is recommended to save only that address. Any other web address you may have bookmarked for DataNet or the homepage may not be current. In order to ensure the most up to date account balance and information, it is also recommended that Temporary Internet Files are deleted periodically. | |
