Overview |
You can make payments to business or individual payees. In an electronic payment, the payment amount is debited from your account and transferred electronically to the payee's bank account. If a business or individual you want to pay can't accept electronic payments, Bill Pay produces a paper check that it sends to that business or individual.

There are two basic steps you take to get ready to pay bills: |
| |
| |
Create your Payee List.
- Once you've entered DataNet, select "Pay Bills" from the top menu bar and then add payees from the choices given.
- To add an individual or business payee, you need only enter the payee's name, address, account information.
- Create a payee list. You only have to enter the payee information once; we'll store your Bill Pay list for you. To avoid delays in sending your payment, please make sure to enter the Payee Information correctly. DataNet/Bill Pay will match your entry against the system database to determine an approximate length of time for delivery of ACH or check payments. Check back in a couple of days to view the suggested delivery date and verify the Payee information.
- You can add or remove businesses or individuals from your Payee List at any time.
| |
| |
Use your Payee List to Choose Whom to Pay and When to Pay Them.
- To pay a bill, you first choose the payee you want to pay, and then enter the payment amount and date. You can even set up recurring payments for bills you pay regularly.
